Right after Mae said "This s a big dangerous secret. We need your help to keep it." I wondered why they would want her to keep the secret. After they had just told it to her, and were so glad they'd told her, why would they suddenly want no one else to know?
Page:43 Paragraph:2 Question Bigphillip says: While I was reading this book I came upon a question about the following sentance "Just think, Winnie Foster, you're the only person in the world, besides us, who knows about it!" I wondered why they chose to tell Winnie thier and not anyone els. Do they think tha Winnie can do something that they can't?, Or are they kiddnaping her and telling her all of thies lies to calm her down. I f I was Winnie I would be very scared.
in the 2nd sentence of chapter 8 where it says Winnie didn't believe that her granmother's elves, I had a connection. my mom would always tell me that the easter bunny was real, but i never believed her.LOL
I'm guessing that the writer is implying that the tucks are telling winnie their secret because they know that if they don't tell her and then let her go, she'll tell other's and then they'll hunt the tucks down and then they'lll be in even BIGGER of a sticky situation. so by telling her, they're actually keeping their secret safer.
On page 43 I had a question. I was wondering what "parson" meant. Jesse was telling Miles that he was being a parson. I figured out that it means a clergyman and that when Jesse was talking to Miles saying "You dont have to be such a parson" he meant that Miles didn't always have to be right.
I put a HUGE star where it said no one noticed the man in the yellow suit creeping behind the bushes. He had just heard the entire story! I have a feeling he is going to tell some one, hopefully he won't!!!
In chapter 8, on page 42, I had a connection. Winnie never believed in fairy tales, and so do I. Although I don't believe in them, I still love to read fantasy books. Unlike Winnie, I don't have a grandmother who believes in elves!
I had a inference on page 45. The book said that when Winnie was traveling with the Tucks that "she to, might live in this wonderful world she was discovering!" I could infer that Wnnie was starting to like the Tucks and the adventurous lives that they have.
On page 46 I had a visualazation. I could visualiz... On page 46 I had a visualazation. I could visualize the pastures and the and the crickets leaping. I could just see big, open fields with tiny crickets hopping in and out of long grass blades.
I had a question on page 43 when Jesse said "We might as well enjoy it,long as we can't change it.You don't have to be such a parson all the time."What does a parson mean? I think it means a negative person.
I had a question on page 43 when Mae said "we will take you home tomorrow." I had a question because the last time Mae said that, Winnie thought it was way too long. Now she didn't so mabe she is starting to like them.
on the top of page 43 when jesse and miles wre arguing, i could infere that miles was definatey the more serious of the 2 . he even said "im not being a parson,i just think you ought to take this more seriosly."
i looked up parson in the dictionary.it said a person who is part of a clergy, especialy a protestant one..............that doesnt help!!!!!!whats a clergy????????
In the being of the chapter,I predicted that Winnie would not believe the Tucks and would think they where mad but its unlikely that Winnie wouldn't believe then because then there won't be any plot or story line.
i had a connection on page 43 where it said "i expect youre full of questions," my connection was that when somebody tells me a story im usually full of questions.

I had a question cause in the movie it was just Jesse and Winnie when they were at the stream and Jesse jumped in I didn't reliz it untill page 44
I could just see all the pastures of cows laying there with their tales wipping.
SOrry for the mix up. On the first page of chapter 7 I made a prediction that the Tucks had drunk from the spring and become immortal and I was right.
bob lee says i predicted that the fairys sere a type of music played. it turned out to be a music box.
BASEBALL77:
I had an infrence on page 43 when Miles said i'm not being a parson I just think you oughta take this more seriously, I inferred he was serious.
I had a question on page 43 when Mae said "we will take you home tomorrow." I had a question because the last time Mae said that, Winnie thought it was way too long. Now she didn't so mabe she is starting to like them.

my connection was that when somebody tells me a story im usually full of questions.
on page 43 it says that the spring is a big dangerous secret. How is a magical spring a big dangerous secret.

Page 42
